Jessica Skitka Carlson - CEO & Founder
After 15 years as an executive in real estate development, finance & marketing; I found myself in a new city, newly married, renovating our 1960's lake house, navigating middle school with my ADHD/dyslexic boy, stagnant in my career, commuting 35 miles - during the middle of a pandemic! Whew, 2020! Between all the soul searching & sleepless nights, I did what any extrovert would do and polled Facebook-land and asked "if you had me over at your house for the day, what would you have me help you with?" One hundred gracious comments later; the most common theme was "DECOR / DESIGN / REMODELING - followed by DIY, social media, organization, execution, building community, positivity, encouragement, fitness/nutrition, personal shopper, fashion & beauty tips, fundraising, family, learning disability advocacy, consignment... (my personal favorite) adventure, great wine & fun times."

To date; that may be the single most comprehensive feedback I have ever received. I was honestly overwhelmed, humbled and read through each response multiple times. My family/friends definitely recognized what I could not. While I do have many hobbies; my true love has always been interior styling, organizing, productivity hacks & home remodeling... and as a result (after much prayer) CARLSON & CO. was born. The perfect mix of my obsession with pretty interiors, organized spaces, combined with years of high-level business experience... with a little flavor of all the rest.
